Water Conservation
Use of low flow faucets, hands-free motion sensor faucets for high-volume restrooms and outdoor computerized irrigation systems.
Recycling Program
Committed to a staff and visitor recycling program including cardboard, scrap paper, newspaper, plastic and glass bottles, aluminum cans, toner cartridges and wooden pallets.
Energy Efficiency
Energy audits conducted by Georgia Power, use of compact fluorescent light bulbs, computerized climate control systems and motion sensor lighting controls.

Recycled Materials and Local Resources
Office supplies and equipment obtained through refurbished inventory or recycled materials and goods and services purchased locally to avoid transportation associated waste.
Urban Location
Urban area location planned to encourage pedestrian access to retail, entertainment, lodging and restaurants and to provide alternative transportation choices over automobiles.
Monitoring Indoor Air Quality
100% smoke free facility, use of pleated air filters with regular replacement and energy saving heat recovery units for fresh air capture.

Tree Canopy
Facility property established with dozens of mature trees within the landscape design contributing to the reduction of carbon dioxide pollutants, storm water run-off control and soil infiltration and providing a pleasing sense of space and place.

The Foundry Building
The Classic Center offers a truly "Green" Meeting and Event Experience with The Foundry Street Building.
The Classic Center has We are proud to have preserved the historic charm of the Foundry Street Building by reclaiming and refurbishing materials used in the original structure.

- Heart-of-pine beams
- Wooden flooring with inlaid carpeting
- Wooden sliding doors
- Original brick walls complete with authentic painted slogans from original tenants
Hosting a variety of business and social events, the Foundry Street Building offers 12,000 square feet of flexible space including ballrooms, smaller gathering spaces, boardrooms, a full-service kitchen and an expansive brick patio for outdoor assemblies.
