Day/Night Shift - HousekeeperFull-time/Part-timeDay shift 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Night shift starts 4:00 pm - until (meaning when all of the work is done for the upcoming events the next day) Must be able to work weekends Housekeeping: Primarily deals with the day-to-day cleaning of the buildings. Duties included, but are not limited to, cleaning reastrooms, vaccuming floors, putting out water for meetings, policing the facility for trash, and performing weekly cleaning duties Employees must be able to lift 20+ pounds. Night-Crew SetupPart-TimeShift is 4:00 p.m. - Until (meaning when all of the work is done for the events the next day). Must be able to work weekends. Primarily deals with physically setting up equipment for banquets, tradeshows, receptions, etc. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, tables, chairs, dance floors, staging, pipe and drape, cleaning/mopping restrooms and vacuuming sets/carpets. Customer Service RepresentativePart time, approximately 20 hours/weekThe Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the daily customer service operations and sales of all Classic Center managed parking facilities and surface lots. Directed by established budgets, goals, objectives, policy and parking protocols, the Customer Service Representative will ensure an efficient, hospitable, fiscally responsible, and well communicated experience for all guests and users of these parking areas at all times. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and is scheduled daily by The Director of Operations.
Typical work routine includes, but is not limited to:1. Working with facility guests and the general public through established systems, provide customer service assistance such as greeting, farewells, parking instruction, way-finding directions, and other general inquiries to all incoming guest of The Classic Center.
2. With a thorough review of event documents and daily event listings on a regular basis, position shall be ensured he/she has the most up-to-date and accurate parking/event information available and are prepared to communicate effectively with the guests once they arrive and begin to enter the facility. 3. Directly facilitate parking reimbursements to customers who are allowed to receive reimbursements and possess a valid receipt. Such reimbursements must be carefully logged and recorded and documentation kept of them in order to reconcile refund accounts at the close of each day. 4. Communicate with the Parking Operations Manager efficiently and in a timely manner in order to correctly identify customers (their vehicles specifically) who forgot their parking credential, did not pay the machine, but were properly identified as being a guests of an event so that their vehicle can be identified and not subject to enforcement. 5. Assist as needed in the development of future parking products and adaptations, in conjunction with the Director of Marketing and Engineering, in order to achieve financial goals. 6. Position shall utilize non-peak parking times to actively directly sell parking products such as football parking, monthly style parking, and daily downtown parking. Additionally, position will sell plasma screen advertising and assist with possible parking deck sponsorship sales. Position will be responsible for completing assigned action items, making targeted sales calls, and tracking objectives and reporting them on a regular basis. 7. Assist the Marketing Director as requested to help maintain updated, accurate information on our website about parking and the availability thereof. To include but not limited to, maintaining a listserv and to correspond with all parking clients to let them know about relevant upcoming scheduling issues, amendments, changing conditions, etc. Other Responsibilities:The Customer Service Representative will maintain a professional, service -ocused attitude in the performance of day-to-day activities. The Customer Service Representative will be familiar with all operating policies and procedures of The Classic Center and will perform such other duties, functions and special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications1. Minimum high school education or equivalent GED. College, vocational or other post-secondary education preferred.
2. Ability to follow directions with minimum instructions and work independently as necessary.
3. Ability to hear, see, and to read and write English.
4. This position requires standing, stooping, walking and climbing stairs. This position requires lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs.
5. Familiarity with general office and computer equipment.
Work EnvironmentThe position includes both a typical office environment, with frequent exposure to minimal-moderate noise levels, and outside walking to various company locations in both hot and cold temperatures.

Marketing Department InternThis intern position is a non-paid position.In general, the hours will be set around intern’s schedule and will include 10-15 hours per week in the office. There are two main projects the intern will focus on during the semester. The first will be to develop a system to submit event information to all regional media outlets. The second will be to research meeting and convention leads and develop a list of 300 prospects for future business. Other duties may include but will not be limited to: Assist with social media marketing Assist with theatre event promotion Other duties as assigned GOALSProvide intern with valuable work experience and references to carry forward in pursuit of future endeavors TERMS OF SERVICEInternship is for up to 20 calendar weeks, and can be terminated at any time by either party.
