Seating in The Classic Center Theatre
All of the seats in our house have excellent views. Seats that may be partially obstructed are removed from the pool before we sell seats.
There are 2,053 seats in the Classic Center Theatre in four separate sections.
Sometimes, depending on the production, we add the orchestra pit for seating. This adds an additional 63 seats to the house bringing it to a total of 2,122.
We are often asked, "What are the best seats in the house?" Frankly, even among our staff, we can't agree on which are the best.
Some people like to sit up close in the orchestra section so that they can see the most detail.
Some people prefer to sit in the front row of the first balcony (we call it the loge section) so that they can look down on the show.
Others prefer the acoustics of the mezzanine section.
Bear in mind, the price for the seats does not necessarily reflect the quality of the seats….it all depends on what you like when you go to the theatre
.

The seat numbers in our house are done "European" style…that means that in the orchestra section (the seats closest to the stage) the outer sections do not have seats numbers that are in numerical order.
For example, in section 101, the seats starting from the aisle and going out are numbered 1,3,5,7,9, etc.
In section 103, the seats starting from the aisle and going out are numbered 2,4,6,8,10, etc.
Some people believe that this helps patrons find their seats faster, though it is certainly confusing at first.
