In the heart of downtown Athens, Georgia, The Classic Center Theatre is northeast Georgia's premier performing arts venue. This 2053-seat masterpiece is a perfect combination of big-city polish and small town charm, with everything from concerts to step shows to Broadway musicals gracing its stage.

More than just a performing arts space, The Classic Center Theatre is home to a myriad of community events including church services, meetings, community fundraising events and the extremely popular Athens Symphony Concerts. The Classic Center Theatre has hosted the Secretaries of State, a weekly network television series and the annual "Dancing with the Athens Stars."

The crown jewel in the annual entertainment lineup at The Classic Center Theatre in Downtown Athens is our Broadway Series and our Bud Select 55 Music Series is also extremely popular. This season we are happy to be partnering with the University of Georgia Performing Arts Center for a new Celebrity Evenings Series, which brings well known world class performers to Athens, Georgia. We also continue to serve the youth of northeast Georgia with two productions of well-loved stories in our Children's Series.
