Breakfast with Santa

The Classic Center Atrium

Santa will come to Athens early this year at this event benefiting The Classic Center Cultural Foundation. Little ones will have the chance to tell Santa their Christmas wishes, create holiday crafts, and enjoy a full breakfast buffet during this morning of fun. A professional photographer will capture family memories, and Buddy the Elf will help spread holiday cheer!

Athens Symphony Christmas Concert

Athens Wine Weekend is the largest fundraiser of the year for The Classic Center Cultural Foundation, which awards over $60,000 in grants and annual hospitality education, performing, and visual arts scholarships.

Swan Lake

Linnentown - The Musical

Linnentown - The Musical

The Classic Center Theatre

In a groundbreaking tribute to Athens history, the captivating musical production Linnentown - The Musical is set to take center stage in April 2024. Written by Hattie Thomas Whitehead, author of Giving Voice to Linnentown, The musical depicts a historically significant African American community in Athens, Georgia, in the 1960s that was erased due to urban renewal. 

There will be a matinee showing on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., designed for middle to high-school-aged students.
