Classic Center Continues Business Restrictions
Statement Regarding COVID-19/Coronavirus
April 28, 2020
The Classic Center continues to closely monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). As of this week, Governor Kemp prepares to slowly reopen the state, ending the Shelter-in-Place order at 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2020. As a part of the executive order scheduled to go into effect May 1, 2020, to remain in effect through Wednesday, May 13, 2020, “no business, establishment, corporation, non-profit corporation, organization, or county or municipal government shall allow gatherings of people.” As a result of this order, The Classic Center will continue to restrict business operations.
Our Box Office walk-up window and phone system will remain closed through May 13. Please utilize the online ticketing system or email BoxOffice@ClassicCenter.com if you need further assistance.
The Jerry Seinfeld performance previously scheduled for Friday, April 17, has been postponed with a new rescheduled date to be announced soon. All tickets purchased with this original event date will be honored for the rescheduled date. Please be sure to keep your original tickets for entry. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will update all patrons should things change as we approach the new performance date.
Churches that have previously congregated at The Classic Center will continue virtual services at least through May 13.
The Classic Center Cultural Foundation’s Annual Golf Tournament slated for May 18 at The Georgia Club is currently expected to occur as scheduled. Should there be adjustments, all participants will be contacted directly.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times and encourage everyone to continue to be safe as we navigate governmental restrictions and how we can best serve you, our customer.
