Honoring Paul Martin's lifelong contributions to the hospitality industry and his impact on education and workforce development in Athens, the Paul T. Martin Hospitality Education Fund supports students with a passion for hospitality, event management, workforce development, and sports management.

A visionary in his field, Paul Martin championed:

  • Accessible education for aspiring professionals.
  • Practical training through hands-on and classroom-based learning.

Paul T. Martin was a member of The Classic Center Authority Board (1996–2004) and a founding member of The Classic Center Cultural Foundation. Until his death in August 2025, he continued to inspire others through his values of servant leadership, teamwork, and commitment to community growth.

 

2026 Education Fund Application

The Paul T. Martin Hospitality Education Fund supports students in hospitality programs at Athens Technical College, the University of Georgia, and recent graduates of the Athens Community Career Academy.

The deadline to apply is Friday, February 13.
