Ballet Performances, Athens Stars, and a Hit Broadway Show happening this month in Athens, GA
Downtown Athens takes center stage this March as The Classic Center Theatre presents vibrant performances from world-class ballet to Broadway comedy, and a community fundraiser. Don’t miss this month’s lineup at ClassicCenter.com.
The month begins with Swan Lake, an international ballet production featuring 42 dancers from Athens’ own Dance FX. Next, local celebrities will compete in Dancing with the Athens Stars to raise funds for a local nonprofit, Project Safe.
The Athens Symphony Orchestra follows with its Spring Concert, bringing an evening of powerful classical music to the stage and gearing up to celebrate 30 years of performing in The Classic Center Theatre.
Audiences can also enjoy the hit Broadway musical Mrs. Doubtfire, along with a special screening of The Princess Bride featuring live commentary and behind-the-scenes stories from actor Cary Elwes.
