
Twelve Local Students Receive Scholarships from The Classic Center Cultural Foundation
ATHENS, GA – The Classic Center Cultural Foundation is proud to announce its 2025 scholarship recipients. This year, twelve exceptional local students from high school to college have been granted scholarships to help further their educational and career aspirations in performing arts, visual arts, and hospitality education.
- Performing Arts Scholarship Recipients: Alex Huang, Siena Avolio, John Casey Matheson, and Max Patrick.
- Visual Arts Scholarship Recipients: Yu Zhou (recipient of the Ann and Jack Crowley Scholarship Fund for the Visual Arts) and Elizabeth Ford.
- Paul T. Martin Hospitality Education Fund Recipients: Andrew Willis, Elli Russotto, Emma Haswell, Ryan Humphrey, Simon DeMott, and William Trotman.
“The Cultural Foundation has been dedicated to supporting the community with scholarships and grants, now totaling over $60,000 annually, for nearly 25 years,” said Stephanie VanDyck, Director of the Cultural Foundation. “These students represent the heart of our mission to provide resources that educate and support performing arts, visual arts, and hospitality education in our community.”
